Sie haben bei hoher Rotation eine geringere Reibung als traditionelle Lager. Das liegt teils an den Eigenschaften von Siliziumnitrid und teils an den engen Toleranzen der verwendeten Kugeln. Siliziumnitrid und Zirkoniumoxid sind die am h\u00e4ufigsten verwendeten Materialien f\u00fcr Kugellager.
